In Musical Theatre, Michael worked for 7 yearsa at the elite Drama School Guildford School of Acting. He has worked with world-class specialist music theatre singing teachers and the West End Stars of the future .

Michael has a deep understanding of the physical skills of singing, blending Estill and Bel Canto techniques as needed.

He has also trained with Opera Coaches from Welsh National Opera, and worked for UCL Opera & directed operas from the keyboard in London & the South East for multiple companies.

Michael also knows how to tweak a voice quickly and safely to work in a huge variety of sounds and styles for auditions or performances

Broad Musical Theatre Repertoire

Michael covered literally hundreds of music theatre songs during his time at GSA; he knows the styles of music theatre all the way from Gilbert & Sullivan, via Legit Musical theatre, all the way to contemporary West End Juke Box musicals and beyond.

Michael is currently working at Mountview Hertford on the Cert HE course at group singing across a wide range of musical theatre.
